Meet the Person Behind Morin Services

Peggy Morin, Certified Translator (OTTIAQ), Ontario Certified Teacher and owner of Morin Services, has close to three decades of professional experience in a variety of sectors. From content and curriculum writer to project manager, teacher, principal, translator and business owner, Mrs. Morin has extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge.

With meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, Mrs. Morin is dedicated to her clients. She hopes to inspire other small business owners and multi-career lovers.

Mrs. Morin is a firm believer in continuing education and professional development. She holds the following certificates and diplomas:

  • Bachelor of Arts – History (University of Ottawa)
  • Bachelor of Education (University of Ottawa)
  • Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults (University of Cambridge – Canadian Language Studies)

She started her career in 1995 as a college professor where she mostly taught English courses until 2006. She spent the next couple of years as Collège Boréal’s New Liskeard campus manager. In 2008, she started her business, Morin Services, and she started teaching at the primary and junior divisions. She enjoyed teaching visual arts, music, dance and drama to students from JK to grade 8 from 2008 to 2017. During that period, she also taught various subjects from grades 4 through 8 such as social studies, geography, math, English, French, and religion.

She also gave private music lessons in her home studio from 2008 until the pandemic, in 2019. Her main instrument is the piano, but she also enjoyed teaching the accordion, violin, drums, guitar, voice and music history and theory.

Between 2017 and 2023, she continued to grow her business all the while being the coordinator of a publicly funded alternative secondary school and Ontario literacy basic skills program.

Today, Mrs. Morin enjoys spending her days as an elementary school principal, but she remains passionate about her business which she manages after school hours and on weekends.

Putting her heart into every project and contract, Mrs. Morin’s passion for her work shines through. Professional, resourceful, and skillful, Mrs. Morin promises excellent customer service, in French and in English.
